I am known for having a natural ability to build rapport and to create the conditions where people feel safe and able to participate in honest, open and courageous conversations. My relational, appreciative and dynamic style has proven to have a positive and lasting impact on the individual, team and wider organisational culture and performance.
I am a Team Coach (TCS, AoEC, ORSC), Co-Active Coach (CTI), Time to Think™ Coach and Facilitator, and Insights Discovery™ Psychometrics Practitioner. I recently held an Honorary Lecturer position at the University of Central Lancashire where I taught on teaming, group, and team development.
My interest in team-working stems from 25 years clinical, managerial and leadership experience in one of the largest employers globally, the National Health Service (NHS) in England. This and the time I spent volunteering in the UK and overseas continues to be a valuable source of learning and inspiration for the work I do today.
I enjoy the variety that comes through working with people at all levels and roles across a broad range of organisations. I occasionally invite brilliant colleagues to work alongside me, when this will serve the client well.
